About the Website

I purchased Interstellar-Beams.Net at the end of December 2003, and it went live early January 2004. The new domain replaced my previous one, mirager.net. (RIP mirager.net, you were loved before you were gobbled up by the bots!) The words "interstellar beams" were taken from a Savage Garden song called Carry On Dancing. Pretty words stolen from a song written by one of my favorite bands seemed like a good idea for a domain name!

This is layout 4 of this website. It features Lady Oscar and Marie Antoinette from the manga classic Rose of Versailles. I have recently become a huge fan of this French Revolution-era anime and manga. The pictures used in the layout are courtesy of Lililicious, who are currently scanlating the Rose of Versailles manga. The layouts were designed in Photoshop, and coded with ImageReady and Notepad.

FAQ

Can I link you?
Sure. I apologize ahead of time for my crappy selection of link graphics ^^;;.

Can you link me?
No problem. If you have a specific graphic you want me to use, please email it to me.

I have an Asian Ball-Jointed Doll or Cosplay site. Can you link me?
Yes, but I will link you through Little Pearl or Angelic Threads if your site is dedicated to one of those two subjects.

Wanna be affiliates/Wanna join my clique?
I've never done the affiliation thing, and I'm not a big fan of cliques any longer, unless it pertains to cosplay or ABJDs. So if you have a clique or webring relating to those two subjects, I will join through those sites. Anything else is a no.

What is your image/graphics policy?
With the exception of link graphics, nothing is to be taken off any of my sites without my permission. I'm usually pretty lenient when you do ask me for permission :). I have anti direct-linking code on my cosplay site to prevent hotlinkers, so please do not direct link any images there unless you want a very unpleasant image on your side of things :P.

About Tenshi

Who are you?
I'm 25 years old, and a recent graduate of UNLV (Studio Art!). I work as a graphic designer, but my personal style that you see on this website is nothing like my professional style! My interests in life include sewing, anime, video games, Harry Potter, art, and dolls (especially Super Dollfies :3).

I have a goofy family and I love them all. The person I love the most is my boyfriend of almost 4 years, Robbie. He's sprinkled all over my cosplay page, if you're curious.

I am 5'8", with long brown hair and blue eyes. I am almost always dressed in jeans, sweaters or T-shirts, and my favorite pair of black Sketchers. I only attempt to make myself pretty when I'm cosplaying or going out ^^;;.

Explain this cosplay thing to me.
I think cosplay is an art. It's certainly my favorite way of expressing myself. Cosplay is different for every cosplayer, but the artistic side of it is what draws me the most.

Explain the Super Dollfie/Asian Ball-Jointed Dall thing too.
ABJDs are a unique breed of doll. They're 100x more poseable than Barbie. They're also more beautiful and durable than Barbie. The best thing about ABJDs to me, though, is that they're so customizable! It's a cosplayer's dream. My dolls can become completely different dolls very easily -- all I have to do is change their outfits, wigs, and eyes. And if I want, I can wipe the makeup off and give them a new face with a little bit of paint and pastels. How could you NOT think that's cool? XD
